The latest cases heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court (Image: Newsquest) The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court: BABOUCARR JATTA, 50, of Grove Road, Southampton, was found guilty of a charge of speeding after he was caught driving at 66mph on the M27 westbound between junctions 10 and 9, where a 50mph limit was in place, on July 28, 2023. He was given four points on his licence and ordered to pay a £500 fine.

A cyclist was seen travelling on the M27 near Fareham (Image: Newsquest) A cyclist was seen riding on a busy motorway this evening, much to the surprise of motorists. Stunned drivers travelling on the M27 have spoken of their shock at seeing a cyclist travelling on the carriageway. One eyewitness said the cyclist, believed to be male, was "getting told off by police". It has been reported he was cycling on the M27 near Whiteley and then Fareham.
