Police officers spotted the suspected stolen motorcycle – branded with ‘YOUR SLO’ - on Weston Shore in the early hours of this morning. Using CCTV, officers monitored the driver and blocked both sides of the road to prevent their departure. The rider took to the pavement to escape, but ploughed into a police stop stick before being arrested by officers.

Violent thug Jay Moody punched his partner in the face during an argument, leaving her seriously injured and in need of at least three operations. The mum-of-two has "lasting damage" and still has no feeling to the left side of her face. Prosecuting, Archie Manby said he committed a series of violent offences in less than 24 hours. The court heard an argument broke out on October 4, 2024, between him and his former girlfriend.

OLIWIA ZIELINSKA, 21, of Fishponds Road, Bristol, was found guilty of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver in Fareham on September 5, 2023. She was ordered to pay a £660 fine and handed six points on her licence. She must also pay costs of £400 and a victim surcharge of £264.

Paul Holmes, MP for Hamble Valley, wrote a letter to Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner earlier this week. It follows the revelation that the budget for One Horton Heath has ballooned to more than £500 million. Mr Holmes, who previously represented Eastleigh, said he has serious concerns about the council’s management of the eight-year scheme. “It has seen spiralling costs, questionable financial governance, and a consistent lack of transparency since its inception”, he said.
