    An environmentalist from the Weymouth and Portland Marine Litter Project visited Weymouth Harbour over the weekend to check on their crab recycling bin station. However, the volunteer was greeted with 'a tsunami of rubbish.'  The volunteer said: "I actually thought it was going to be an evening in front of the TV as there wasn't much on Weymouth beach, broken toys, a few cans and bottles including two glass bottles and a small pile of rubbish.

The YFW Blood Bike group which serves Dorset and south Somerset have recently received a mega fundraising boost of £25,000 from the Mark Benevolent Fund.
