I am reaching out to all the friends of the Deltaville Maritime Museum (DMM), letting you all know how glad I am to be back from a grueling 90-day hospital stay and back home in beautiful Middlesex County with all my good friends. I will still be recuperating for about another 30 days and working from home. Thankfully, the DMM Bistro volunteers, staff and others are lovingly handling the details of our 2025 events schedule keeping them rolling.

The second installment of the popular Family Game Night at Deltaville Maritime Museum (DMM) will happen at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28. Put your game face on, load up that car with the family and come on out. Refreshments will be available. Game nights are free and will also be offered at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, and March 21. The fourth year of the Turner Lecture Series continues on Sunday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m. in DMM’s enclosed events pavilion next to DMM Waterfront Park. The Feb.

Bypass the crowds at the malls and enjoy lots of great shopping and more! It all happens in the autumn setting of our waterfront and nature park. This is the weekend before Thanksgiving Day. Just an FYI:Be sure to bring your camera or phone for your very own selfies with Santa. DMM will open an hour early at 9 a.m. to let visitors check out the variety of new specialty items at the gift shop and give them a chance to view the new additions to our exhibits.

With beautiful weather, although a touch of chill, the 19th annual “Scary Halloween” at Deltaville Maritime Museum (DMM) and Holly Point Nature Park moved all inside the spacious events pavilion and, thanks to volunteers and staff had plenty of lights, decorations, illusions, and just plain “scary” for everyone. Join us for the Deltaville Maritime Museum (DMM) and Holly Point Nature Park’s extremely popular annual “Scary Halloween in the Park” happening Thursday, Oct. 31 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Deltaville Maritime Museum, 287 Jackson Creek Road, Deltaville. This is the actual date of Halloween and the official date to observe Halloween as set by the County of Middlesex. All area families are welcome.
