PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Mother's Day weekend ended tragically for one Landover family. 54-year-old Leslie Yvette Davis of Palmer Park was found shot to death in her house on the 1900 block of Ray Leonard Road on Saturday afternoon, according to Prince George's Police Department officials. Davis’ daughters told police they went to the house to pick up their children after a Mother's Day weekend sleepover, only to find shots had been fired through a bedroom window, killing Davis.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A 2-year-old girl has died after being left unattended in a hot car in Montgomery County. It happened on Wednesday near Arcola Elementary in Silver Spring, Maryland. According to sources, the father dropped one child off at school but allegedly forgot to drop his 2-year-old off at a babysitter, and it wasn’t until hours later that the child was found, and by then it was too late. “The officers got there.
