The Michigan DNR provides a "Mi-Morels Map" highlighting recent large burn areas, which are prime morel habitats. As temperatures begin to climb across Michigan, morel enthusiasts soon will be heading into the woods to search for the tasty mushrooms.

    Clinton High School and Middle School STEM teams won several awards in three different competitions. The teams swept the Michigan Regional SeaPerch Challenge, qualifying four teams for the International Competition at the University of Maryland. They also placed first in Craftsmanship and second overall in Performance at the Square One Underwater Innovative Vehicle Design Competition.

    The Adrian District Library held its third annual "Loud3 at the Library" fundraiser, "The Chocolate Version," on April 5. The event featured chocolate treats, live music and tours of the newly renovated Children's Area/Youth Services Department. Money raised supports the Friends of the Adrian District Library, which buys items outside the library's normal budget and contributes to an endowment.

Update from @LenaweeLodes. Tecumseh girls basketball is seeking its first state title since 1974. It also finished Class B runner-up in 1975.
