    DEXTER, MI – A long-time assistant principal in Dexter Community Schools will take on a chief administrator gig next year as his predecessor retires. Brett Pedersen is set to be principal at Mill Creek Middle School next fall after 14 years in the assistant role, the school district announced in a release Friday, April 17. He replaces Ken Koenig, who’s finishing up his DCS career and said in a statement he considered himself “extremely fortunate to have worked alongside” Pedersen.
