(WCIA) — The Sangamon County Corner has released the names of three girls and one woman who were killed on Monday when a car drove through the building hosting their after-school program. Coroner Jim Allmon said all four were pronounced dead at the scene. He identified them as:Allmon added that post-mortem procedures were performed on Tuesday. The procedures indicated that they all died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the incident.

    Update at 1:30 p.m.KANKAKEE, Ill. (WCIA) — The Kankakee County Coroner’s Office has released the name of an IDOT employee who died after his snowplow was hit by a train near Danforth on Monday. Coroner Robert Gessner told WCIA the employee was 29-year-old Aaron Pittman-Teague. After the crash, Pittman-Teague was transported from Iroquois County to Riverside Hospital in Kankakee, where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy was performed on Tuesday, Gessner added.

    John Milhiser, the Sangamon County State’s Attorney, has issued a statement following the decision of an appellate court to overturn Sean Grayson’s pretrial detention. “I spoke to the family of Sonya Massey today after the opinion was released and told them that the Sangamon County State’s Attorney’s Office remains committed to seeking the continued pretrial detention of Sean Grayson,” Milhiser said.

    Update at 11 a.m.Sources tell WCIA that more fire departments from Central Illinois have been dispatched to downtown Lincoln to help battle the fire. Departments that are now arriving on the scene includes ones from McLean, Macon and Menard Counties. The fire is also burning close to the town’s train tracks and Amtrak station.     SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WCIA) — As legal proceedings begin against a former Sangamon County Sheriff’s deputy accused of murder, court documents are revealing the events that led to the deadly shooting. Sean Grayson was arraigned on Thursday with charges of first-degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm and official misconduct. Sangamon County prosecutors requested that he be denied pretrial release, a request that was granted.
