The Artistry Cincy on East Pete Rose Way, right at Sawyer Point, experienced significant flooding in its lower garage, leaving residents unable to park their vehicles due to mud and debris.

    FALMOUTH, Ky. (WXIX) - The Falmouth Mayor and Fire Chief resigned this week following large floods that hit the city. Falmouth’s Police Chief has taken on the mayor’s administrative duties. FOX 19 NOW went to Falmouth on Wednesday and spoke with Police Chief Marty Hart about the changes. He explained that Mayor Luke Price took on a new role in his full-time career that would have prevented him from carrying out his duties as mayor.

    CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Cincinnati Fire Department officials say they have participated in 11 water rescues since Sunday, following the flooding of the Ohio River and its tributaries. CFD has said that most of those rescues were avoidable. On Tuesday, Lieutenant Collin Grove told FOX 19 that most calls were for people who had driven into floodwater, were unaware of the flooding, and woke up to find their home submerged.

    CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The high water levels of the Ohio River have crept into some downtown Cincinnati apartment buildings. Residents of the Artistry Apartments on East Pete Rose Way told FOX19 NOW Monday night that the rising river only took a little while to completely flood the lower levels of the building. Justin Austin, a tenant at the apartment building, was traveling in Portugal for most of the rainstorms that hit the Tri-State area this week. He said he wasn’t too worried when he returned.
