BATAVIA, Ohio (WXIX) - A Clermont County man seeking to clear his name and overturn misdemeanor convictions related to a 2023 fire at his mobile home is out of jail pending the outcome of his appeal. Christopher Longnecker appeared Tuesday for a brief bond hearing before Clermont County Municipal Court Judge Nathan M. Little. Judge Little ordered his release late last week.

WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) - A 13-year-old is under arrest and accused of being one of three suspects who fled West Chester police in a stolen vehicle early Tuesday. The teen is being charged with receiving stolen property and obstructing official business, according to a township spokeswoman, Brianna Wooten.

GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) - The American Red Cross was asked to assist a family displaced by an early morning house fire in Green Township, according to Hamilton County dispatchers. No injuries were reported when flames broke out in the 2800 block of Jessup Road around 4:10 a.m. Monday, dispatchers confirm. The fire was reported knocked down but three adults, two dogs and four cats are displaced, according to fire crews. The cause remains under investigation.

Jennifer Edwards Baker | Fox19A semi-trailer hauling 40,000 pounds of cheese overturned on southbound Interstate 71 at the exit for Kenwood mall overnight, closing it for hours, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. No injuries were reported and no cheese spilled onto the highway but it has been shut down since 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sgt. Robert Mai said early Thursday.
