DANIELS, WV (WVNS) — A one-car accident is causing delays in the Daniels area of Raleigh County. 59News is on scene where a mini-van Lewis Automotive shuttle ran into a barrier while traveling southbound. The accident occurred right at the main entrance to Performance Fitness in Daniels. Traffic is heavily congested travelling in both directions. The driver of the vehicle was seen being searched while in handcuffs. Members of the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office were on scene.

RENICK, WV (WVNS) — The Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office has asked the public for help in finding a man who is wanted in the county. According to Sheriff Bart Baker, the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office is searching for 52-year-old Jason Roberts, of Renick. Roberts is currently wanted on felony warrants of Grand larceny, breaking and entering, destruction of property that stem from an incident in March of 2025.

PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) — A former girls high school wrestling coach has had new charges filed against him that are similar to charges filed against him in January 2025. According to a criminal complaint, filed on Friday, April 25, 2025, investigators were contacted by a School Resource Officer (SRO) at Princeton Senior High School on January 31, 2025.

CHARLESTON, WV (WVNS) — A man from Raleigh County was criminally cited after he was found with a loaded handgun at West Virginia International Yeager Airport (CRW). According to a TSA release, the man, whose identity was not released, was from the Daniels area of Raleigh County. On Saturday, April 26, 2025, he was found with 9mm handgun that was loaded with five bullets, including one in the chamber. The weapon was taken by police and the man was removed before receiving his criminal citation.
