Fond du Lac police responded to a report of an armed man who had fired a gun inside an apartment Friday night. The man, who was in a wheelchair, was threatening to harm himself and refused to engage with crisis negotiators. Police evacuated residents and used an explosive breach to enter the apartment, taking the man into custody. The man's mother, who was also in the apartment, was safely removed.
