The Kalannie Bulldogs from WA's Wheatbelt have travelled to Victoria to play the Bannockburn Tigers in a pre-season friendly. About 100 people made the trip from WA to honour Jack Satchell, a former player from both teams. The clubs say there is talk of Bannockburn visiting the tiny town of Kalannie in the future. Two football teams from country towns on opposite sides of Australia have faced off in Victoria to honour a late mate who belonged to both clubs.

Maybe Tom Brady is the evil sorcerer behind the Chiefs' postseason meltdown. It makes sense. In the wake of Kansas City’s Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, there has been gloomy analysis within Chiefs Kingdom about how things could have gone so badly wrong. Some Chiefs' fans have highlighted the breakdown of the offensive line and the uncharacteristically poor play from Patrick Mahomes as the reasons Kansas City lost 40-22.

After six years of greatness, one game at the end of an incredible run got away from the Chiefs. Yes, the Kansas City Chiefs lost a football game in brutal, brutal fashion, and it happened on the biggest stage of them all, the Super Bowl. The Chiefs got smashed by the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22 in a game where nothing went right for them. Defeat is not a word strong enough for what the Chiefs endured in the form of a 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Foxtel Group has been made to apologise to some of its Kayo and Binge customers after it incorrectly advised that its streaming services would be cancelled. In late January, Foxtel announced Kayo Sports and Binge would no longer be available in hundreds of Australian postcodes defined as "very remote" by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

Bran's Bold Predictions are BACK for 2025. I might live in WA, but I'm tipping that @NMFCOfficial will surge past the @WestCoastEagles this season, and I'm willing to put my honour on the line if I'm wrong. Bring it on. #gobold https://t.co/WuMTinVEwK

Smart move going for the red-on-red, makes it harder to see the new logo. Big win.

The @GoldCoastSUNS have launched a whole new look 👀 https://t.co/yBkDFFGtol

Two tweets, one day apart. Old mate literally came back to work just to hand in his resignation. https://t.co/lvM2MJlo6u
