A new car is his after he bought a " Show Me Cash" lottery ticket at HyVee, 301 NE Rice Road in Lee's Summit. "I got a new car, and every morning I wake up and I look out into the garage to make sure I wasn't dreaming," he said to the Missouri Lottery. The winner said he was motivated to pick up a Show Me Cash ticket for the Friday, April 4, drawing after trying out the game during a lottery promotion.

    Only one drive-in movie theater remains in Kansas City, and its movie season just kicked off. Boulevard Drive-In Theater, 1051 Merriam Lane in Kansas City, Kansas, opened its gates for its 75th season Saturday, April 26. The drive-in just completed a restoration of the marquee board that greets fans and tells them what movies are scheduled for the night. Two films are broadcast on the big outdoor screen every Friday and Saturday while it's open.

    Professional wrestling shows have always been a hot ticket in Kansas City, and coming off the heels of one of the most successful events in sports-entertainment history with WrestleMania 41, the T-Mobile Center was packed with WWE fans for Monday Night Raw on Monday, April 28. Hundreds of fans were lined up hours before the arena doors opened at 5:20 p.m. on a warm and cloudy Monday, many of whom were parents with their children dressed in shirts featuring their favorite wrestlers.
