Michael Verto Hutchings, 68 of Riviera Beach, Florida, formerly of Holden, MO, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Trustbridge Hospice in West Palm Beach, FL. Mike was born Friday, December 7, 1957 in Harrisonville, MO and was the son of the late Donald Hutchings and the late Annetta Hancock. He attended grade school in Holden, Missouri and then moved to West Palm Beach, FL. In his thirties, he moved back to the Holden area and attended CMSU earning his Bachelors in Fine Arts in 2005.

The selection of a new Board Of Directors member, the election of officers, and discussion of present and future activities highlighted the Wednesday, May 21 H.O.P.E. meeting. Early in the meeting the board received presentations from individuals interested in serving on H.O.P.E.’s board. Each gave a brief personal background in addition to the reasons they wished to serve. After a discussion by board members, Tim Nash was selected to fill the one open position.
