Friends of a Port Coquitlam teen left with life-altering injuries in a Cypress Mountain backcountry fall are raising funds for his recovery. On April 14, North Shore Rescue volunteers pulled 18-year-old Carson Storey from a cliff on the north face of Christmas Gully on Mount Strachan. He had been enjoying a day of spring skiing on the hill when he fell while trying to retrieve a friend’s lost ski. A GoFundMe.com fundraiser launched by a friend of the family offers an update on his condition.
