(ST. JOSEPH, MO) - The Braymer High School baseball team won the WOW Wood Bat Tournament Red Division Championship on Saturday by defeating Maysville 6-4. Braymer almost didn't even make the championship game, as the team came back from a 10-3 deficit after the third inning in the tournament semifinals to eventually beat Polo, 18-13.

(FAUCETT, MO) - The Mid-Buchanan High School baseball team defeats Centralia 3-0 in the first round of the WOW Wood Bat Tournament in the White Division. It was scoreless until the bottom of the fifth inning, senior Brayson Weston and sophomore Krayton House both added RBI doubles to get Mid-Buchanan on the board. Senior Will Archer pitched the full 7 innings for Mid-Buchanan, finishing with 8 strikeouts and only giving up 4 hits and no runs.

(ST. JOSEPH, MO) - The Polo High School baseball team comes away with a 13-5 victory against South Holt in the first round of the WOW Wood Bat Tournament in the Red Division. Senior Gage Gilbert led Polo as he finished 3-for-4 at the plate with 3 RBI. Senior Brandon Wallace finished 1-for-3 with 2 RBI for Polo. At the plate, junior Owen Horner pitched 6.2 innings for Polo, finishing with 7 strikeouts and given up 5 hits and 4 runs.

"It felt pretty great because I don't get a lot of chances to score because I'm usually center back, I'm tucked back there," said Jura.

(FOREST CITY, MO) - The South Holt High School baseball team defeated DeKalb 3-1 in a 275 Conference Matchup on Monday. DeKalb took a 1-0 lead in the windy conditions in the top of the first. But the Knights drove across 2 runs in the third, one from a ground out from sophomore Tycen Skeen and another from a wild throw to third base, scoring sophomore Tayte Prussman. Senior and Emporia State signee Hayes Weller added the final South Holt run of the day in the fourth inning on an RBI single.
