Braymer almost didn't even make the championship game, as the team came back from a 10-3 deficit after the third inning in the tournament semifinals to eventually beat Polo, 18-13.

The construction for the new buildings will be where the old Ramada Inn and Applebee's were located.

The Sertoma club in St. Joseph has actually been around for 111 year but the International Sertoma board decided recently to contribute a $5,000 check to each club that has celebrated 100 years or more. The club has approximately 500 clubs across the United States and Canada. Sertoma member, Pat Dillon says, "I think it's great.
