We asked readers which well-known Nevada experiences they had participated in. Swimming in Lake Tahoe's famously clear, famously cold water was far and away the most common experience for poll respondents. About three out of every four respondents said they had been to an Aces game; ditto for Dawn Patrol at the Great Reno Balloon Race. Burning Man may be the most world-famous event in Northern Nevada, but it's not a bucket-list item for locals.
