ASHTABULA — Half an hour before Saturday's 'No Kings' protest was scheduled to start, dozens of people stood at the intersection of West and Lake avenues, holding signs calling for resistance against President Donald Trump and his policies. As it grew closer and closer to the start of the event, more people joined the line of protesters, until around noon, there were well more than 50 people lining the southwest corner of the intersection.
