HOLLAND, MI — The U.S. Department of Energy has canceled a $170.8 million grant to Kraft Heinz that was originally set to fund clean energy projects at ten of the company’s U.S. plants, including one in Holland. The Kraft Heinz grant was one of 24 clean energy grants canceled Friday, May 30, by the department, according to a release. Energy Secretary Chris Wright said the cancelations would save over $3.7 billion in taxpayer funds.
