***A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for most of southeast Wisconsin for Wednesday. The watch includes Racine, Kenosha, Ozaukee, Milwaukee, Walworth, and Waukesha counties from noon on Feb. 12 to 3 a.m. on Feb. 13.***A weak disturbance moves in tonight, bringing some scattered light snow to southeast Wisconsin. Only up to a 1/2" of snow is expected, with the best chance northwest of Milwaukee. A much stronger system brings heavy snow potential to the area on Wednesday.

A weak system tracks through tonight and tomorrow. Some snow will fall across northern Wisconsin, but we'll only see a few very light rain showers. Only a few hundredths of an inch of rain is expected. Colder temperatures settle in this week, especially by Thanksgiving and into next weekend. We're still tracking a potential storm system leading into Thanksgiving day, but the bulk of this system should stay to our south.

We have a very good chance of hitting a record high temperature today. Today's record high temperature in Milwaukee is 94, and we're forecasting a high of 95! The added humidity will make it feel close to 100 this afternoon. Stay hydrated and limit time and activity outdoors. There is a tiny chance of a pop-up shower or storm today and tomorrow. We have a better chance for storms Wednesday and Thursday.

Today will have more of a spring-like feel than summer. Even with full sunshine, a northeast breeze will keep afternoon temperatures in the 60s. Another chilly night is on tap tonight with lows temperatures around 50 lakeside and dipping into the 40s inland. Warmer times are ahead this week. We return to 70 degrees tomorrow then 80 on Wednesday. It's also going to get quite humid.

Tracking severe weather is the most important job duty we have as being broadcast Meteorologists. It is our job to relay important information from the National Weather Service while providing additional context, details, and our own observations regarding a storm's strength, track, and timing. We do not take this responsibility lightly.

Weekends in the city are coming back to life as we crawl out of winter. Saturday should be a great day for the Milwaukee Marathon. Anyone running tomorrow? https://t.co/krm775oaSv
