The USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier lost a second jet in a week yesterday, after a failed landing attempt. Details are scarce, but Navy officials have confirmed the F/A-18F Super Hornet had a “failed arrestment”. Whatever the case, the jet went off the deck and to the bottom of the Red Sea. Both crew on the jet ejected safely, and were recovered quickly with minor injuries. The incident is just the latest for the Truman.

The KNIGHT HAWKS of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 136 have one less jet this week, after an F/A-18E Super Hornet fell off the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) in the Red Sea. The multi-million dollar single-seat jet was being towed in a hangar bay, when the crew towing it lost control on April 28. According to the Navy, everyone involved was able to move clear of the jet as it rolled off the ship with the tow. One crew member sustained minor injuries.

A bill to ban chemtrails is being considered by the Florida Senate this week.
