ATLANTIC CITY — The Who is saying goodbye to North America, and one of their final stops will be right here at the Jersey Shore. The British rock legends will perform at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on Aug. 23, 2025, as part of The Song Is Over North American Farewell Tour. The show marks one of the last East Coast dates in what the band is calling the final chapter of their six-decade career.

ATLANTIC CITY — Last year, four grassroots community organizations made good use of $4 million in state grants to strengthen the community and beautify the streets of Chelsea, Ducktown, Midtown and the Inlet. But in recent months, all four groups were anxiously awaiting news of whether they'd receive the needed funds to keep that work rolling. Earlier this month, the good news began arriving in the form millions of dollars in New Jersey Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit Project.
