For one property at Seaside Heights, the future looks a lot like the past. The Victorian Classical Era, to be exact. The new development at the Jersey Shore town known for Snooki and Pauly D is joining a growing movement to replace Seaside's older buildings with something new and fresh. "Every block, there’s something going on," Seaside Heights resident Kirsten Braman said. "Seaside Manors" will comprise of 16 townhomes just off the boardwalk on Ocean Terrace.

There's been a break in 30-year-old cold case mystery at the Jersey Shore after experts confirmed skeletal remains found on three beaches belonged to a 19th century boat captain. The bones from a leg, arm and fragments of a cranium discovered on the beaches of Ocean City, Margate and Longport between 1995 and 2013 yielded no answers until now. Authorities said the remains belong to 29-year-old Captain Henry Goodsell, who died at sea 181 years ago.

Even though the rides may be ready for the start of Summer, many businesses along the Jersey Shore are still searching for summer staff. Among those looking for help for the busy months ahead is Morey's Piers in the Wildwoods. "We have two-to-three-hundred jobs left to fill out of a total of 1,500," Kyle Morey, of Morey's Piers said.
