GAINESVILLE, Fla. – UF Health and United Healthcare signed a new multi-year agreement that starts on Monday. Patients with United Healthcare insurance can now return to UF Health, as the two companies have resolved their previous disputes. The original deadline ended on Sept. 1, 2024, but it resulted in a stalemate. United Healthcare blamed UF Health for proposing a 30% price hike over two years and a more than 20% rate increase in one year.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Let me start by saying: surfing is tough. Hats off to people who do it regularly and with ease. I had the experience of going through Mark Collins’ Surf Camp — it might as well be known as a boot camp. I am proud to say that I was the first — and only — student to sign up. On the one hand, I have been skimboarding since I was in elementary school, which mainly stays along the shoreline. This, however, was my very first time surfing.
