MYLAC is a youth-led organization that works with the mayor’s office to give back to the community. They organize events and engage with people within Jacksonville. Kayleigh Gutierriez, a senior who went through the program, talked about her favorite project that she worked on.

Police said at 11:30 a.m., officers responded to the 9500 block of Regency Square Boulevard and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his foot. He was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
