    NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. – Neptune Beach is working to keep students safe by cracking down on the rules of the road with automated speed cameras that are now in effect at local school zones. The new speed cameras became operational on April 3 and automatically issue citations with $100 fees for anyone driving more than 10 mph above the speed limit. It will come in the mail, along with a photo of the car’s license plate and the speed at which the driver was traveling.
