The warning is in effect until 7:45 p.m.The warning for Nassau County was canceled at 7:27 p.m.At 7:26 p.m., A severe thunderstorm was located along a line extending from near Waverly to near Kingsland, moving northeast at 15 mph.

The protests were part of a nationwide organized event dubbed “No Kings,” against President Donald Trump’s administration. Around 9 a.m. on Saturday, hundreds of protesters were out near the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Hodges Boulevard.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – With thousands of protests planned across the country on Saturday, Jacksonville officials urged residents to keep the protests peaceful. Around 9 a.m. on Saturday, dozens of peaceful protesters were already out near the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Hodges. Ryan Feeney from the group Indivisible Mandarin said they were expecting at least 1,000 participants. A few counter-protestors were also in the area.
