Missouri football has dipped into the spring transfer portal window for an offensive lineman. Florida State transfer Jaylen Early announced Tuesday via his X account that he has committed to Mizzou. Early primarily played right tackle and right guard for the Seminoles, which makes it immediately unclear where the Tigers plan to utilize their new signing. Entering this 10-day window for transfers, Missouri seemingly was most likely to chase a left tackle.

It has been 14 years since Aldon Smith and Blaine Gabbert heard their names called on the same night, and went to the league as first-round, and top-10, picks in the NFL Draft. Smith went at No. 8. Gabbert went at No. 10. That stands as the last time Missouri football sent two players in the same draft class to the league as Day 1 selections. Are the Tigers about to break that streak? The 2025 NFL Draft begins Thursday night in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
