Deputy Perth Lord Mayor Bruce Reynolds announced the suspension on Thursday, revealing there were about 500 for-hire e-scooters in use in the city. “At this stage, there is no time frame (for how long the suspension will last), we’re going through a process where we’re assisting all the relevant authorities and investigators, and once that information has come to hand, we’ll be in a situation to make a decision,” he said.
