HOBOKEN, NJ — A century-old building in Hoboken that held a bank and then a newspaper office will get a new use. The limestone-clad Hoboken Trust Company bank building at Washington and 14th streets, in uptown Hoboken, opened in 1903, according to the Hoboken Historical Museum. Around 1997, the building at 1400 Washington St. was sold to the Hoboken Reporter, a growing weekly newspaper group that previously occupied space across the street in a basement.
