HOBOKEN, NJ — A century-old building in Hoboken that held a bank and then a newspaper office will get a new use. The limestone-clad Hoboken Trust Company bank building at Washington and 14th streets, in uptown Hoboken, opened in 1903, according to the Hoboken Historical Museum. Around 1997, the building at 1400 Washington St. was sold to the Hoboken Reporter, a growing weekly newspaper group that previously occupied space across the street in a basement.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — The Ridgewood police have made an arrest in connection with a home burglary, they announced Thursday. They said that on Dec. 6, at least one person burglarized a home on Old Stone Road. After an investigation involving several law enforcement agencies, police charged Juan Manuel Guerrero Acosta, whose last known address was Miami, Fla., with second degree conspiracy to commit residential burglary, police said.
