Lancashire Blvd., will hold the BVCC Kids Summer Arts & Science Camp 2025 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. July 14-18. The camp is open to all children in the community ages 6 through 12 years old. Registration will end June 27. Classes offered include watercolor painting, clay sculpture, music and drama, STEAM, yard art, rock painting, "Joy of Flight" (airplanes) and science investigation.

The 2025 Plant-a-Seed Soiree, hosted by the NWACC Foundation and emceed by KNWA's Jaclyn House, raised approximately $125,205 for Northwest Arkansas Community College student scholarships. The sold-out benefit took place on May 2 at Heroncrest Event Center in Springdale. Over the course of the 2024-25 academic year, the foundation awarded more than $230,000 in scholarships to a total of 220 students.
