ShareNASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) -The Nashville nonprofit “Neighbors 4 Native Plants” is holding its Fall Sale. It started as a grassroots effort in 2023 to get more locals to plant native plants in their yards and on their porches. The group buys the bulbs wholesale so they can turn around and sell them for a reduced price. The idea is to create a pollinator pathway that will help the birds, bugs, and bees get where they need to go.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - One state representative is working to say goodbye to the grocery tax in Tennessee. Tennessee is one of thirteen states with a grocery tax and at 4%, it is one of the highest in the nation. Representative Aftyn Behn and Senator Charlane Oliver are sponsoring a bill that would eliminate this grocery tax and replace it with taxes on large companies that call Tennessee home.
