PINEVILLE, N.C. — Authorities say a person was shot after a fight broke out during an illegal street takeover in Pineville. Multiple 911 calls just after 4am on Sunday, June 8th led police to the Park 51 Shops on Park Road, across from the Atrium Health hospital. Pineville Police say multiple vehicles were driving reckless by doing donuts and burnouts in the parking lot. Authorities say an argument during the street takeover led to shots being fired.

CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities say they arrested a woman connected to the Catawba County mass shooting. Zoe Braswell has been charged with one count of accessory after the fact to attempted first degree murder, according to a news release from the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office.
