FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KWNA/KFTA) — Mayor Molly Rawn of Fayetteville has surpassed the 100-day threshold in her administration. Her top priorities remain fixing the ongoing housing crisis and shoring up the city’s infrastructure, particularly its water and sewer systems. Rawn is pleased with her staff’s performance so far, but said she’s her own worst critic, always wanting to strive to accomplish the next issue at hand. “We are getting good things done, and we’re doing good work,” Rawn said.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Northwest Arkansas Task Force 1 Water Strike Team was deployed to help with flooding recovery in Central Arkansas last weekend. Seven members from the Springdale, Fayetteville and Rogers fire departments performed rescue and recovery missions in feet of standing water south of Little Rock, including one around 1 a.m. Saturday.
