Well, this is a Plus-Plus. Toy company Plus-Plus — a Denmark-native toy company with its head office + warehouse in Greenville — is now offering tours. The toy company won 2025’s Toy of the Year from The Toy Foundation. Specifically, the toy from Plus-Plus USA won in the “specialty toy” category. We got to tour the Greenville facility and chat with Ryan Hamilton, CEO of Plus-Plus USA.

Mete-or not, here they come. The Lyrid meteor shower — one of the oldest known meteor showers, according to NASA Science — will be visible in the Upstate on Monday, April 21 + Tuesday, April 22.

Inside, you’ll find a charm bar, permanent jewelry (coming soon), a photo booth + other accessories. Start by choosing your chain from the wall + selecting charms ranging from $5 to $12. The jewelry is mostly gold-plated with a small sterling silver section. For an additional cost, you can even make personalized charms. We opted for the GVLtoday logo.

We love books, don’t get us wrong. But you don’t have to love reading to enjoy The Greenville County Library System (GCLS). Here are some unexpected library offerings. Classes | Did you know the library offers free classes ranging from “Introduction to Smartphones” to “Native plants and pollinators?” Events | Besides classes, GCLS offers events for the community like book bingo, trivia, and writers’ round tables. Pro tip: The classes are in gray, and the events are in blue.

The new state-of-the-art Traffic Management Center inside the City of Greenville’s new Public Safety Complex on Halton Road is home to traffic engineers who stagger their shifts to keep an eye on commutes during the busiest times of day.
