WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - Poor air quality continues for most of Wisconsin Friday, due to wildfire smoke from Canada. All of Wisconsin is under an Air Quality Alert through 6 AM Saturday morning, with slowly improving conditions arriving throughout the day Saturday. While some smoke could linger Saturday morning, smoke should move southwest of us and mostly out of our area, creating much better conditions for outdoor activities as skies clear.

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - Beautiful weather continues throughout Memorial Day evening, with clouds building quickly throughout the overnight into Tuesday. The next wet weather maker will slowly arrive throughout the day Tuesday, with better chances for rainfall arriving late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning. The center of low pressure is expected to slow down over northern Indiana and lower Michigan, meaning communities to our southeast will have the best chance to pick up the highest totals.

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - We hade made it to the end of the week. We will be starting out with rain early today. Rain should exit our area by this afternoon and should leave Green Bay by about 5 PM at the latest for any festivities related to day 2 of the NFL Draft. Ponchos and umbrellas will be needed early. The combination of rain-cooled air from morning showers & cloudy skies for most of the day will lead to highs in the low to mid-50s for today. We will get some clearing later tonight into tomorrow.

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - Happy Earth Day everyone!!Wednesday will be, by far, our warmest day of the week with highs in the upper-60s and possibly low-70s further south. Skies will be partly cloudy overall, but a couple showers and storms could enter the forecast in the afternoon & evening. Our best chances for rain, for the rest of this week, will be on Thursday & Friday. Rain is possible during most of the day on both days.
