    WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - Clouds, drizzle and fog continues for the start of Tuesday with cooler temperatures starting out in the 50s across central Wisconsin. Skies will slowly clear out throughout the early afternoon hours Tuesday as temperatures quickly jumping back into the lower 70s for the late afternoon. The weather will cooperate for several events coming up this week, including the first ever game for the Wausau Ignite Softball Team.

Overall, the best rain chances will continue throughout the late afternoon hours, with showers and thunderstorms gradually winding down around sunset Monday night.

    WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - Expect partly sunny conditions Saturday with a small chance for thundershowers developing toward evening in west-central Wisconsin. Highs will be back in the lower to middle 70s for most of the area. A First Alert for a washout on Sunday with periods of rain and storms Sunday morning, scattered showers with a chance of a storm Sunday afternoon. Cool with highs in the mid to upper 60s.

    WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - A few storm systems will move through Wisconsin throughout the weekend, bringing more chances for showers & thundershowers lasting into early next week. Showers will wind down Friday night with skies partially clearing toward Saturday morning, as temperatures dip back into the upper 40s to lower 50s across the area. There will be some areas of fog developing overnight, with a few locations having less than a few miles visibility before daybreak Saturday.

    WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - Once again, more wildfire smoke and haze return to The Badger State with poor air quality remaining over central Wisconsin. The air quality will slowly improve throughout the afternoon, with better conditions ahead tonight into tomorrow, as the winds shift again before Friday. The first Concerts on the Square will have nice weather for this evening, with plenty of sunshine returning as temperatures bounce back into the middle 70s for the day.
