On the heels of leading the NFL in sacks, the Denver Broncos rewarded defensive coordinator Vance Joseph with three key offseason additions. In free agency and the NFL draft, the Broncos prioritized the middle of the defense, signing safety Talanoa Hufanga and linebacker Dre Greenlaw, and selecting cornerback Jahdae Barron in the first round.

It's that time of year. The six-week stretch between the end of NFL offseason training programs and the beginning of training camp has begun, and we're only one week into it. The NFL desert, as I call it, is replete with one list after another across the media landscape. It can be fun to cover them, especially when it comes to a renowned NFL writer like CBS Sports' Pete Prisco, who just dropped his top 100 players of 2025 list.

We're now 25 years into the 21st Century, and to commemorate it, ESPN has released its All Quarter Century Team, featuring the best players at each position and coaches. The NFL summer marches on, but there's an end in sight. The league has announced its training camp dates for all 32 teams, and the Denver Broncos will get started in mid-July. The Broncos' rookies will report for training camp on Wednesday, July 16. The veterans will report on Tuesday, July 22. The Broncos plan to hold joint practice with the San Francisco 49ers in California on Thursday, August 7, ahead of their preseason matchup that weekend.

Devaughn Vele was one of the hot topics of the Denver Broncos' offseason training program. The second-year receiver showcased that he'd worked hard during the offseason, on his own, and when the voluntary minicamps rolled around, it was clear that he'd separated from some of the Broncos' other wideouts. As one of the big 'risers' of OTAs, Vele's absence from the Broncos' mandatory minicamp last week triggered concerns and questions.

Gimme a break. PS2 wasn't even ranked as PFF's No. 1 cornerback this offseason. No consistency. Don't get me wrong, PS2 deserves all the shine. He's the reigning DPOY, after all.
