LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - It was the start of the baseball season for many young Coulee Region athletes as an annual tournament is taking place this weekend in La Crosse. The 51st Annual Robert McMahon Memorial Tournament consists of 60 teams from Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota. The tournament is considered one of the largest youth tournaments in the area. Athletes and teams aged 11 to 14 compete in the two day competition.

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – Buildings continue to go up at La Crosse's Valley View Mall near the site of the old Macy's. Raising Canes, a car wash, and a Panda Express will be the newest additions to the mall. The $1.5 million project will also include another Starbucks drive-thru. The city said more developments are in the works for the mall area. This includes another car wash at the site of the former Red Lobster. La Crosse Mayor Shaundel Washington-Spivey weighed in on the new project. “I'm excited.
