WHITEHALL, Wis. (WKBT) -- If Charlotte Windjue had a spirit animal, it might be an owl. "At some point I resonated with the owl because of the whole wisdom [thing]," Windjue said. GALESVILLE, Wis. (WKBT) -- State Democrats hosted constituents at the Galesville library for a budget listening session on Friday. This was Senator Brad Pfaff and Representative Steve Doyle's final budget listening session of the spring. It comes as their Republican colleagues officially stripped 612 measures from Governor Evers' budget proposal. Items dropped included marijuana legalization, paid family leave, and tax increases on Wisconsin's wealthiest residents.

ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) -- Onalaska area artists have created something visitors can take with them when they pass through. At Great River Landing you can now find postcards with designs representing something special about Onalaska. The inspiration came from Ted Lau, a Great River Landing employee who told Lori Ehlke with the Onalaska Art Keepers about visitors asking him for a postcard to take with them, but the city hasn't had one.
