Kelli Bryant was released from the Oakland County Jail at about 5 p.m. after posting a $50,000 bond, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office and court records. Bryant's attorney was not immediately available for comment on Friday. Authorities charged Bryant with three counts of first-degree child abuse in February.

A New York photographer is suing Detroit-based online marketplace StockX, alleging the company used a picture he took of a Kardashian on its website without permission. A complaint was filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan in Detroit by a New York law firm on behalf of Jackson Lee. The complaint seeks a jury trial for damages and legal costs.

MICHIGAN Charles E. RamirezThe Detroit NewsA Canadian man convicted of drug trafficking and who was once on Homeland Security Investigation's Ten Most Wanted List has been sentenced, officials said. Khaophone Sychantha, 43, was given 20 years in prison Wednesday by a federal court judge in Detroit, U.S. Attorney Jerome Gorgon, Jr. said in a statement. The judge also ordered him to serve five years of supervised release once his prison term is completed, Gorgon said.

Detroit police are asking the public for help to find a suspect who fatally assaulted a man last year on Detroit's east side. Officials said the attack happened at about 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 15 in the 3800 block of Mt. Elliott between Gratiot and Mack avenues. Police officers were called to the location for a report of an assault, authorities said. They arrived and spoke with the victim, Lamar Williams. Detectives said Williams told police he had been assaulted with a blunt object.

OAKLAND COUNTY Charles E. RamirezThe Detroit NewsTwo women accused of running a human trafficking and money laundering operation in Metro Detroit have been charged, officials said. Runping "Lisa" Huang, 62, and Chunxiu "Eva" Xu, 47, were arraigned Saturday, the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office said. "For too long, human trafficking festered in the shadows of our communities while victims were fearful of being treated like criminals," Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald said in a statement.
