SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ – The Scotch Plains-Fanwood 4x400 relay team of Justin Timchak, Max Handler, Justice Larkin, and Blake Jackson have been named Joint Motion Physical Therapy Athletes of the Week. The boys won gold at the 2025 Union County Championships on Friday, May 9, running a 3:24.23 in the Boys 4x400 Meter Relay. “It was a big win for us and one of our goals for the meet,” said SPF track head coach Jeffrey Koegel.

SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ – Anand Sahasrabudhe, senior on the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Boys Tennis team, has been named Joint Motion Physical Therapy Athlete of the Week. Sahasrabudhe just recently won his second-consecutive Union County Championship in 1st singles on Friday, May 2, retaining his title as the top tennis player in the county for the second year in a row. “I am not surprised,” said SPF boys tennis head coach Barbara Joyner.
