CONCORD, N.C. - The NASCAR Cup Series off week, the only one of the season, comes at an important point on the calendar for two reasons.
One and most notably, Easter. But secondly, it also comes at the quarter pole, with nine of 36 scheduled races officially in the books.
Still, there's much to be decided even before reaching the playoffs, which will again encompass the last 10 races of the season.

CONCORD, N.C. - Sure, the NASCAR Cup Series will take its off weekend in the 2025 schedule this week, but there will still be plenty of racing to watch.
And a little added intrigue to boot.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series and CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, in conjunction with the ARCA Menards Series East, will take to the historic 1-mile oval at Rockingham Speedway with loaded slates set for Friday and Saturday. It will be NASCAR's first trip back to "the Rock" since the Truck Series last visited in 2013.

CONCORD, N.C. - William Byron's rally from a 26th starting position fell a handful of spots short of a win on Sunday at Bristol Motor Speedway, but it was plenty to stay atop the leaderboard in a bigger category. Byron maintained his grip on the NASCAR Cup Series points standings and is 30 points ahead of second-place Denny Hamlin. Kyle Larson meanwhile, who dominated yet again at Bristol, moved up a couple of spots after locking down his second win of the season.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Shortly after the first practice of Speedweek on Wednesday, NASCAR Cup Series drivers went through media day festivities at Daytona International Speedway.
As is usually the case, drivers were subjected to questions on a vast array of topics ranging from the DAYTONA 500, the 2025 season, life as a driver and, well, even some silly ones too.
Certainly, Hendrick Motorsports’ drivers were no exception.

CONCORD, N.C. - While Bowman Gray Stadium hasn't hosted a NASCAR Cup Series race since 1971, it won't exactly be new for all four Hendrick Motorsports drivers when they compete in the 2025 NASCAR Clash on Sunday.
From 2011-2015, the site was host to an annual event in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. Alex Bowman, Chase Elliott, William Byron and Kyle Larson each participated in at least one of those five races.

On Wednesday, thanks nominations by his peers, he got his hands on something else. Something prestigious.
The Papa Joe Hendrick Award of Excellence.
The honor, established in 1995, is named after the team owner Rick Hendrick's late father.

Officially named Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions, the Concord, North Carolina company named executive Scott Lampe its new president ahead of next month’s opening of a brand-new, 160,000-square-foot advanced manufacturing facility on the campus of Hendrick Motorsports.
