HAMPTON — Christopher Bell led just one lap during Sunday’s Ambetter Health 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway — but it was the one the mattered the most. On the last lap in overtime, Bell and Kyle Larson were racing side-by-side with Carson Hocevar squeezing in between the two. Behind that trio, Josh Berry, Ryan Preece, Justin Haley, Shane Van Gisbergen, Joey Logano, Austin Dillon and Tyler Reddick all wrecked.

CONCORD, N.C. - While Bowman Gray Stadium hasn't hosted a NASCAR Cup Series race since 1971, it won't exactly be new for all four Hendrick Motorsports drivers when they compete in the 2025 NASCAR Clash on Sunday.
From 2011-2015, the site was host to an annual event in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. Alex Bowman, Chase Elliott, William Byron and Kyle Larson each participated in at least one of those five races.

The Papa Joe Hendrick Award of Excellence.
The honor, established in 1995, is named after the team owner Rick Hendrick's late father.

CONCORD, N.C. - NASCAR unveiled the entry list and practice groups for the Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium on Tuesday and three of the four Hendrick Motorsports drivers will be together. By virtue of finishing third, sixth and ninth respectively in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series points standings, William Byron, Kyle Larson and Alex Bowman will all practice as part of group 1. Chase Elliott meanwhile, will practice and qualify as part of group 3.
