A 15-year-old boy has been reported missing from Elgin, with him being last seen in the Moray town last night. Rhys Sutherland was reported missing and has not been seen since he was at his home address at around 7.30pm on Friday, May 9. Rhys is described as being 6ft tall, is of slim build and has brown, short hair. When last seen, he was wearing a grey tracksuit and a black “Red Hot Chilli Pipers” baseball cap.

Disruption is expected on a major route in the north of Aberdeen next week, with a roundabout closing for resurfacing works. Danestone roundabout, which is located in Bridge of Don, will be closed overnight from 6pm on Monday, May 12 as part of a £7million resurfacing programme being carried out by Aberdeen City Council. All approaches to the roundabout, which is located on the A92, will be closed from 6pm to 6am for over 10 days, with works expected to be finished on Friday, May 23.

The owner of a Westhill bar and bistro has promised to carry on despite the business entering into liquidation. Duncano’s, which is located within the Westhill Shopping Centre in the Aberdeenshire town, put in a petition to Aberdeen Sheriff Court on May 2 to be wound up. However, owner Lynne Duncan – whose background is in marketing and recruitment – has said that despite this, the restaurant is “still trading”.

A pub boss has said he would “do it again” after he hosted a “community day” for a seriously ill Celtic fan – despite boycott threats from angry Dons. Andy Eagar took charge of the Abbot in the Kincorth area of Aberdeen six months ago. He held the event for a pub regular who had received life changing news just weeks before.

A major route in Inverness city centre has been closed due to a crash. Castle Street – between Bridge Street and High Street – has been shut after an incident involving a vehicle and a cyclist this morning. It was reported to police at around 9.40am on Friday, May 9.
