However, if nothing else, it was a good sign when linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah showed up for the start of the team's voluntary offseason program on Tuesday. The team's official X account initially posted, "2025, let's get it! so great to see @j_owuu back at CrossCountry Mortgage Campus!" However, the post, unlike any of the others showing players arriving, had no video.

The Browns will be on the clock somewhere around 8:20 p.m. April 24 to make their first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. That pick will be the first of 10 selections they're scheduled to have over the three-day event. Thanks to the mock draft simulator at Pro Football Focus, the results are already known — at least if it were to play out this specific way. Tom Allen had the good fortune to be able to scheme up way to utilize Abdul Carter's strength last season as Penn State's defensive coordinator. It was a much better position to be in than the previous two years, when he had to scheme to stop Carter as Indiana's head coach. "Heck, yeah, there's no question," Allen, now Clemson's defensive coordinator, told the Beacon Journal in a phone interview Tuesday night.
