SAN FRANCISCO - Even though Anthony Edwards had a relatively quiet first half in Saturday night's Game 3 of the Timberwolves' second-round playoff series against Golden State, coach Chris Finch was happy with the way his star was playing. This wasn't like Game 1, when Finch said Edwards needed to come out with more energy and set the tone. "I thought he was aggressive and doing the right things," Finch said of Edwards.

After an easy win in Game 2, Game 3 was anything but, as the Golden State Warriors ground out the game against a struggling Wolves offense - and Jimmy Butler appeared unguardable most of the night.

Following Thursday's 117-93 win over Golden State, a game in which the Timberwolves jumped out to a 13-0 lead to start, head coach Chris Finch summed up the victory perfectly when speaking postgame. After back-to-back duds from beyond the arc in Game 5 of the first round series against the Lakers and the opening game of this one - shooting a combined 12-76 (15.8%) from three - Minnesota looked, as Finch put it, much more like themselves.
