This week’s Rundown is bookended with advocacy for DIY projects. In 2002, Ron Edwards wrote his now famous (infamous in some gaming circles) article about how some fantasy role playing games broke his heart. The article discussed how there were a number of designers in the 80s and 90s who were creating “deeply personal games” that took existing systems and added house rules to them to create something that was an example of the DIY spirit.
