The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers needed something Saturday afternoon to salvage the final game of a six-game series with the Lansing Lugnuts. The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers fell just short in their comeback against the Lansing Lugnuts for the conclusion of Friday night’s suspended game. The Rattlers had a run in and the tying and winning runs on base in the bottom of the seventh on Saturday afternoon, but the red hot Lugnuts escaped for a 4-3 victory.

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers didn't quite make it through both of their games on Friday. The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers tried but could not dig out of an 8-1 hole as they fell 8-4 to the Lansing Lugnuts Friday afternoon at Neuroscience Group Field in the day game of the split doubleheader between the teams. Lansing (8-5) sent six batters to the plate and scored twice in the top of the first inning against Brandon Woodruff.

Third Base Ventures, led by Craig Dickman, Rob Zerjav and Brad Raaths, announced today that it has agreed to sell the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers to Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH), an organization that owns and operates select Minor League Baseball (MiLB) clubs affiliated with Major League Baseball (MLB). The Timber Rattlers will remain in the Fox Cities as the High-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.

Manuel Rodriguez pitched six scoreless innings and turned a 1-0 lead over to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers bullpen on Wednesday afternoon against the Lansing Lugnuts at Neuroscience Group Field. However, Rodriguez could only watch as the Lugnuts scored three times in the top of the eighth inning and go on to a 3-1 victory. Wisconsin (4-7) started quickly as Tayden Hall and Blake Burked walked in the bottom of the first.

Jadher Areinamo’s two-run double in the eighth inning snapped a 1-1 tie and propelled the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers to a 5-1 victory over the Quad Cities River Bandits Sunday afternoon at Modern Woodmen Park. The win gave the Rattlers a split in their six-game series with their West Division rivals. Wisconsin (4-5) broke in front in the top of the sixth inning. David Garcia started the top of the sixth with a single against Quad Cities starting pitcher Logan Martin.
