Planet Fitness opened its brand new location in the South Ridge area of Charleston on Monday. Located in the old “Toys R Us” building, it comes with new state-of-the-art equipment. They’ll be open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the week and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the weekends.

HUNTINGTON, WV (WOWK) — It was a perfect day to bring out all manner of fantastic antique vehicles that spent their winter in the garage. Ritter Park in Huntington was filled once again for the “Graffiti in the Park” auto show on Sunday, put on by the Tri-State Street Rods. More than 300 cars and trucks were on display at the event, which brings out everything from muscle cars to custom classics to some of the shiniest modern machines to hit the streets.

HUNTINGTON, WV (WOWK) — Saturday marked the 14th Annual Military and Veterans Appreciation Picnic in Harris Riverfront Park in Huntington. An event where veterans, active duty military members and their families come together to eat food, enjoy live music, watch a car show and witness the firing of a cannon. Ron Wroblewski, a veteran of the Vietnam War, has hosted the event for its entire tenure, and he said it’s an honor to show support for the men and women in uniform.
