HUNTINGTON — The Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center, nearing the end of its Phase One renovation, received a pledge of $500,000 from Berridge Long Copen on Wednesday. The donation will fund the construction of a “Founders Club” at the theater, which will serve as a venue for special events that also will be open during shows. The Arts Center’s board president, Robert H. Plymale, compared it to a speakeasy. It will have a separate entrance from the street, but guests can also enter from the lobby.

It was ranked 42nd by Mental Health America for access to care in 2024. Each state has its own 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline after it was established in 2005. Rozanna Bracken is the program director for WV 988.
